Curator and cultural manager. She currently works as Associate Curator at Tamayo Museum in Mexico City. Bachelor of Fine Arts (UNT), Specialist in cultural management (UNT), Master in Theory and Aesthetics (UAB) and Master in Museum studies and Critical theory (Independent Studies Programme, MACBA, Barcelona). In 2013, she obtained the Résidence des Amériques scholarship for curators granted by Conseil des arts de Montréal to develop a curatorial project at Founderie Darling, Montreal, Canada. She collaborated as a curator in the selection of Latin American artists for the third number of HB, a magazine on drawing (www.revue-hb.org). Between 2014 and 2017 she worked as curator of FLORA ars+natura, a contemporary art space in Bogotá, Colombia; where she coordinated the exhibition and artistic residency programmes, which included the participation of artists such as Doris Salcedo, Carlos Garaicoa, Lucia Koch, Antonio Caro, Marjetica Portc, Vasco Araujo and Gabriela Albergaria, among many others. She obtained a Travel Grant from the Getty Foundation to attend the Annual conference of CIMAM in Doha, Qatar in 2014 and participated in the Symposium on institutional models and visits programme organised by Mondriaan Fonds in Amsterdam, 2015.
Residency program organized by FelipaManuela with the support of Acción Cultural Española AC/E, thanks to its Grants of the Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE), in the Visitors mode. The program have also the collaboration of the Library of the Fine Arts Faculty, Universidad Complutense, Madrid and the R & D project La Incorporación de las Comunidades Artísticas Universitarias a las Narraciones de la Modernidad y del Presente (The Incorporation of University Artistic Communities to the Narratives of Modernity and the Present).
