Direction: Andrea Pacheco González

Fine Arts graduate, with a postgraduate qualification in Animation from ESDIP and a Master’s degree in Art Education in Social and Cultural Institutions from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). She is an artist, flamenco dancer and DJ whose work has been presented at Matadero Madrid, Sala Siroco, Café La Palma, Pichi Fest and Radio Relativa, among others. In 2023, she took part in the six-month visual artists’ residency at the Centro de Residencias de Matadero Madrid, and in 2024 she exhibited as part of the Circuitos de Arte Joven programme of the Community of Madrid. She has worked in the academic coordination of Master’s programmes at IED, in the coordination and production of the FelipaManuela research residencies, and currently works as a mediation coordinator at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS).
Research and Production: Jessica Figueroa Neikoleo
Master’s degree in History and Anthropology of the Americas from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). She was a mediator and Public Programmes Coordinator at the Museo de la Solidaridad Salvador Allende in Santiago de Chile. Among other projects, she was part of the team behind the participatory research project Mirada de Barrio (2017–2020) and co-editor of the publication Mirada de Barrio. Arte y participación colectiva para imaginar territorios y comunidades (MSSA, 2022). She has developed a practice centred on artistic co-creation, participation and research with diverse communities and spaces, from a rights-based approach. Together with artists and curators, she has developed programmes from the perspective of critical museology and critical pedagogy.
Communication: Elena Ligaya Barreres del Mundo
Degree in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Culture from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and the IUIOM. Has developed a career in cultural management, working at art galleries such as Max Estrella and Aina Nowack, where she was involved in exhibition organisation and artwork management. At the Embassy of Spain in the Philippines, contributed to the development of cultural initiatives in collaboration with institutions and professionals in the sector, collaborating with organisations such as Instituto Cervantes, the Sorolla Museum and the Delegation of the European Union. Has also participated in the coordination and production of events at the Madrid Book Fair and currently works on the management of projects at artists’ studio Boa Mistura.
Felipa Manuela is a non-profit Cultural Association, benefited with the grants to independent spaces of contemporary creation of the City of Madrid in the 2017, 2018-2019, 2020-2021 and 2022-2023 open calls.
