ARTISTIC RESEARCH RESIDENCY – ABIERTO ABIERTO PROGRAMME, IN COLLABORATION WITH OPEN STUDIO
February 2018

She has exhibited individually and collectively in venues such as Museo de Arte de Zapopan, Museo de la Ciudad de Guadalajara, Museo de Arte Raúl Anguiano, Museo Taller Clemente Orozco and Galería Machete, in Mexico City; The M Building and The Bass Museum, in Miami (Florida), and the Pomona College Museum of Art, in Claremont (California); the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, island of San Giorgio Maggiore, in Venice (Italy), and Bessarabia Square, in Kiev (Ukraine), among others. Her work approaches occult or esoteric concepts of our reality from the viewpoint of quantum physics, as well as notions of sensitivity and intuition. She sometimes uses certain "mancias" or pseudosciences such as palmistry, numerology, graphology or I Ching, applied to specific individuals or situations. She is interested in revealing hidden or psycho-emotional information in order to profile individuals or circumstances, as a starting point for her work.

Programme organised by FelipaManuela, in collaboration with Open Studio and PAOS Guadalajara.
