Curator responsible for Área de Programación del Museo de la Solidaridad Salvador Allende (MSSA) in Santiago, Chile. Graduated in Art History and Art Theory at Universidad de Chile and MA in Art Curating at the Royal College of Art (London), she has curated the following collective exhibitions at MSSA: “Muros blandos”, alongside curators Lily Hall and Mette Kjaergaard Praest, as well as “La emergencia del pop. Irreverencia y calle en Chile”, with Soledad García. She has coordinated the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, sede Quinta Normal (2012-2013), where she developed projects such as the exhibitions “Luis Camnitzer / Colección Daros Latinoamérica”, “Poetas en tiempos de escasez” and “Un exilio sin retorno, Rodrigo Rojas de Negri”. She was Head of exhibitions at Centro Cultural La Moneda, where she curated shows such as “Puro Chile. Paisaje y territorio”, alongside Gloria Cortés and Juan Manuel Martínez, “Al ritmo de Brasil. Arte naif, popular y moderno” and “Visiones territoriales. Fotografía autobiográfica”, with Montserrat Rojas. In London, she curated the exhibitions “Ritual without Myth”, “Lying on Rocks” and “Desmond Church”, as part of “Exhibition as Medium” cycle in Margate’s CRATE Space, and the collective thought retreat-project “Ways and Means” for the Wysing Arts Centre in Bourn, Cambridge. Since 2015 she works as Associate professor in Exhibition Practices at the Art Department of Universidad Alberto Hurtado.
